Born in Bucklin, Minnesota, Grover Cleveland Ramsey (1892-1974) was the son of George Washington Ramsey (b. 1864) and Olive May Sights (b. 1870). Retiring from his position as a public school principal in Chicago, Illinois, Ramsey moved to Texas in 1958.
